Application process for ship certificate

How to get a ship and apply for a ship certificate? According to the regulations of the Ministry of Communications of China, the ship needs to apply to the local maritime department for the "Certificate of Ownership", "Certificate of Ship Inspection" including (Certificate of Seaworthiness), and "Certificate of Nationality". The general path for applying for a ship certificate: Step: For newly imported ships, the applicant can entrust relevant shipyards, ship design units or agents to issue technical documents and drawings. Entrust relevant units to translate relevant documents. The basic drawings and technical documents to be provided by the imported ship at least include: whole ship specification, general arrangement plan, hydrostatic and stability calculation. Freeboard calculation book, tonnage calculation book, ship operation manual, basic structure drawing, engine room layout drawing, engine manual, electrical and electrical equipment layout drawing, electrical manual, ship inclination test report, fire protection system drawing. Two: Apply for inspection to the ship inspection agency (Maritime Administration or Classification Society) with drawings, materials, CE or ABYC certificate and certificate of origin. If the inspection is qualified, the ship inspection agency will issue a plan approval letter, plan approval number, ship inspection number, and the certificate of the date the ship's keel was laid. Each yacht has CE or ABYC certificate and certificate of origin, which are provided by yacht manufacturers and agents. Step 3: Submit the information to the Maritime Safety Administration: plan approval number, ship inspection number, certificate of keel laying date, general arrangement of the ship, hull manual, etc. to apply for the ship identification number. The Ship Identification Number is the legal number for each ship, which is national and granted by the Maritime Safety Administration. Part 4: Apply to the Maritime Safety Administration for the name of the ship. The name of the ship must not be the same name or the same pronunciation as the name of the ship previously applied for. It is also national and automatically recognized by the computer system. Step 5: With the ship identification number and the approved ship name application, apply to the ship inspection agency (Maritime Administration or Classification Society) for inspection and certification, and issue a "Yacht Trial Certificate" if the inspection is passed.
